Getting some of that Indian spices out in Arizona

Back at it again with #ShopLocalSaturday; where I highlight local eats and shops that I have visited. Counting down number three at  Chutney’s Indian Cuisine !

Continuing on my travels to Arizona; I wanted to try other cuisines that are around the area. Being a New Yorker means there are many opportunities to sample and eat the world, but I wanted to know if there are other areas in the US that I can eat different cuisine, while still being local eats.

Finding out that there is an Indian restaurant about 15 minutes away, I decided to make the trek. I’m also traveling around like a local (yes, taking public transportation). Came into a strip mall with some other stores and restaurants as well.

Sitting down and getting the menu, I had to see what wasn’t too spicy, and was staring at the chicken menu. I ended up selecting the Chicken Saag for my dinner, as I’m a fan of creamed spinach as well. I also added garlic naan as well; if there is any restaurant that puts that on their menu, I will order it.

It ended up being really good; especially mixing it together with the rice. Though it proved to be too much for me, with the garlic naan as well (but it was soo worth it). I did like the nice touch of carrots and tomatoes on top of the rice and saag, respectively. The good news is that it became my lunch for the next day🙂

I definitely recommend Chutney’s to those who are in the area craving Indian cuisine and with a party of 4 for the booths. They do have the round tables for bigger parties. Though I would like to come back and try their lunch buffet options sometime in the future!

As a bonus; if you do wanna get the most bang for your buck; I’ll leave you with the following options below with my links, so that you can earn cash back on what you order while you’re at Chutney’s.

Know of any other local shops that you enjoy going to that should be highlighted? Leave a comment and let me know!

And as always,

Remember to always support your local establishments! They are a part of your community!

“It’s not what you know. It’s who you know.” You probably heard this statement many times. You may be wondering, “What’s that really mean? Who do I have to know? And how do I do that?” My simple answer to that is; networking. Networking is a necessity as you grow up. In fact, you already know how to network and know people; you’ve been doing it all your life.

What’s in the teapot today for Tea Time Thursday? I popped open my #chrysanthemumtea today from Chinese Tea Culture. I definitely love the taste. It reminds me when I go #dimsum and this tea is served. Gotta love when it’s brewed #teatimethursday #chinesetea #nostalgia
